Eye Screening & Cataract Camp – Ukhapur, Tipling

Maeyes Foundation organized a comprehensive free eye screening and clinical consultation camp at Ukhapur, Tipling. Under the leadership and coordination of organiser Amit Debnath, the outreach camp successfully provided vision checks, refraction testing, and counseling services for local residents. Underserved community members were diagnosed for refractive errors and cataract conditions, with free corrective spectacles distributed on-site and advanced cases referred for fully supported surgical treatment.

Pediatric School Screening – Gyanjyoti Academy

A major pediatric vision screening campaign was conducted at Gyanjyoti Academy as part of our school eye health initiative. Under the expert coordination of Swapna Gogoi, our clinical team screened 1085 students and 36 staff members, identifying refractive errors and diagnosing general ocular concerns. 30 prescription spectacles copies were issued to provide free corrective eyeglasses to children in need.

Eye Screening & Cataract Camp – Digboi Bagjan

Our medical outreach team organized a highly successful eye screening and clinical consultation camp at Digboi Bagjan. In partnership with local community leaders, the drive successfully screened numerous residents, diagnosed refractive errors, distributed free spectacles, and referred advanced cataract patients for fully supported surgical treatment.

Eye Screening & Cataract Surgery Camp – Sivasagar

Maeyes Foundation organized a highly successful eye screening and cataract detection camp in Sivasagar, Assam. The campaign targeted underserved rural communities in Sivasagar and neighboring districts, offering free diagnostics, vision testing, and dispensing prescription spectacles on-site. Over the course of the drive, our clinical team identified numerous cataract cases, arranging fully sponsored surgical transport and operations at our base hospital.

Vision Care Project – Free Eye Screening & Spectacle Distribution

Under our flagship Vision Care Project, Maeyes Foundation partnered with Renu Eye Care Centre, Dibrugarh, and the Rotary Club of Digboi to organize a massive free eye screening and corrective eyeglass distribution camp in Digboi, Assam. Supported by the Sarva Mangal Family Trust and Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, the initiative targeted underprivileged community members, focusing on primary eye diagnostics, color blindness evaluation, and refractive error detection. Our joint clinical team conducted comprehensive checkups, including refraction testing with trial lens frames, near vision assessments, and Ishihara color blindness tests. Free custom-prescribed eyeglasses and eye medicines were distributed on-site.

Collaborative Cataract Screening Camp – Ziro

The Collaborative Eye Care and Cataract Screening Camp was successfully organized by Maeyes Foundation in association with the Apatani Youth Association (AYA), Ziro, and was proudly supported by the Sarva Mangal Family Trust and Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care.

Achievements of the Eye Screening Program:

• Screened 900+ patients in and around Ziro Valley.
• Distributed 500+ free custom spectacles to refractive error patients.
• Provided free essential ophthalmic medicines to needy patients.
• Diagnosed 100+ cataract and other eye disease cases, with fully supported surgeries scheduled shortly at our hospital.
